Faith Talks

Last fall, I received a call from a representative at Evangelism Explosion. Because of our longstanding partnership, they invited Corazón Ministries to host Faith Talks, a new initiative focused on equipping youth pastors to train high school students to confidently share their faith.
The training was held February 11-13 to help leaders gain a deeper understanding of how to see and engage the lost while strengthening students to clearly communicate the Gospel. A newly developed app was introduced. It was created specifically for a generation that communicates through technology. I had the opportunity to explore the app firsthand and was encouraged by its thoughtful, practical approach to helping young people articulate and share their faith.
Participants traveled from the West Coast, the East Coast, the Phoenix area, Patagonia, and Tucson to attend. As the training concluded, I discussed plans to expand these efforts, including hosting a banquet to introduce more youth leaders to this opportunity.
I was especially encouraged by two young Hispanic men who took time off work to participate. Their desire to implement what they learned and equip their bilingual students was a powerful reminder of why this matters. Corazón Ministries remains committed to reaching Hispanic and Latino communities for Christ, and we are grateful for our partnership with Evangelism Explosion. There is nothing greater than witnessing God at work through His church for His glory.
