Equipping Gen Z to Share the Gospel

 Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. - 1 Timothy 4:12

In February, Corazón Ministries had the opportunity to host a youth leader training centered on a new evangelism curriculum from Evangelism Explosion called “Faith Talks.” Created specifically for Gen Z, this curriculum helps young people develop confidence and practical ways to share the gospel within their generation.

One local Hispanic youth leader participated in the two-and-a-half-day intensive and was deeply impacted. Through biblical teaching and interactive outreach practice, he gained a passion and greater confidence for evangelism among students and young adults.

After seeing the impact of the training firsthand, we wanted to introduce this resource to more leaders throughout our city. We recently hosted a Youth Pastors Luncheon where this same leader shared how Faith Talks had personally encouraged him in ministry. His testimony gave pastors a meaningful glimpse into how this curriculum can strengthen youth ministries and inspire students to live out and communicate their faith. The gathering was also a great time of connection, conversation, and encouragement among local leaders.

Those in attendance expressed strong interest in future trainings and were excited to share the opportunity with others in their ministries.

We are grateful for what God is doing and look forward to welcoming the Evangelism Explosion team back to equip additional youth leaders in the future. Our prayer is that young people across our city would be rooted in the gospel, filled with courage, and prepared to boldly share the hope of Jesus Christ.
