Hearts United in faith

Corazón Ministries has partnered with Pusch Ridge Christian Academy’s South Campus to minister to their community of mothers. When the campus opened in 2022, PRCA South moms began meeting regularly for devotional time and fellowship. Last fall, Claire was invited to lead the devotional programs. Each morning began with cafecito and delicious breakfast as the moms spent time in fellowship. At the first gathering, it was evident how deeply the women wanted to en

gage with Scripture and receive Claire’s teaching.

During the devotional, God began moving powerfully among the group. Meaningful questions emerged, such as, “How do I read the Bible?” “How do I hear God’s voice?” and “How do I know that God loves me?”. Claire set aside her prepared teaching and followed the leading of the Holy Spirit, meeting the women where they were. While their children were growing spiritually through their Christian education, these mothers expressed a longing to grow in their own understanding of God’s Word. The time together was marked by tears, embraces, and renewed hope as Claire spoke truth and encouragement into their lives. The Corazón volunteer team made sure to gift chocolates and tissues for the next time we visited.

Last Saturday marked the first Mom’s Devotional of the new year. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve the mothers of Pusch Ridge Christian Academy’s South Campus and to walk alongside them in their spiritual growth. Please continue to pray for wisdom for Claire and the volunteer team, that this community of mothers would be encouraged, strengthened, and refreshed through God’s Word. The Lord is faithful to bring hearts together for His purposes.
