Equipped to Witness

As we enter 2026, we remain grateful for God’s continued grace as we equip the body of Christ for evangelism and Christian apologetics.
Toward the end of 2025, a longtime pastor with many years of faithful ministry approached us to share his vision for the year ahead. His desire was to intentionally equip and mobilize his congregation to engage their community with the gospel. He invited us to come alongside his church by providing training that would help prepare and encourage his people.
We began the year by leading two training sessions for the church’s young adults group. The first focused on the role of Christian apologetics in evangelism, emphasizing the biblical call to be prepared to give a reasoned defense for the hope we have in Christ. The second training centered on engaging others through meaningful conversation, teaching participants how to ask thoughtful questions, listen attentively, and share their Christian convictions with grace, respect, and clarity.
It was deeply encouraging to see young believers step outside of their comfort zones in order to reach others for Christ. After the sessions, we took time to gather feedback and reflect together on what God had taught them. It was clear that the Lord was at work in their hearts and lives.
At the conclusion of the final training, a young Latina woman approached me to share how deeply the teaching had impacted her. She explained that she resonated strongly with my testimony of being the first in my family to come to faith in Christ after being raised in a traditional Latino religious context. She shared her desire to reach her own family with the gospel, along with some of the challenges she is currently facing, and asked for prayer for her mother, who had recently attended church with her for the first time.
Moments like these encourage us to continue faithfully investing in the equipping of the saints, trusting that God will use His Word and the testimonies of His people to advance the gospel in every context.
